General staff meeting at Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Kharkiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations was held on 11 September, 2019. 
While general staff meeting Oleksandr Kliuiev, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine stressed the need to intensify the institute staff activity and Gas chromatograph purchasing. 

 
Oleh Uhrovetskyi, First Deputy Director, Doctor of Law, Docent, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, underlined concrete expert work deficiencies demonstrating some expert reports as example in his speech and paid attention to the need of taking measures to address the shortcomings in further work and improving quality of forensic examinations and forensic researches in general.
 

 
Ella Simakova-Yefremian Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Law, Senior Researcher, informed all present about publication activity, processing research papers and perspective topics. Continuing her speech Deputy Director for Academic Affairs said that nowadays challenges underline importance of developing theoretical basics and scientific methods helping forensic experts to approach the main aim of their activity, namely: search for truth. She released information regarding identified deficiencies in research papers of institute researchers.
 

 
Oleksandr Sviderskyi, Deputy Director, Responsible for Forensic Examinations, PhD in Law agreed with remarks made by First Deputy Director Oleh Uhrovetskyi regarding deficiencies in expert work and underlined mistakes of expert reports in his speech. Oleksandr Sviderskyi also informed about total number of examinations performed by KhRIFE forensic experts in August 2019.
 

 
Ruslan Kolobnev, Leading Lawyer of the institute informed all those present about latest changes in the legislation of Ukraine concerning the exercise forensic practice in Ukraine, and familiarized  all present with the provisions of the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated on November 29, 2016 No. 3410/5 regarding staffing checkpoint for administrative buildings of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. 
 

 
Tetiana Shkurdoda, Chief Accountant of the institute reported on the results of KhRIFE financial activity while August 2019. 
 

 
Concluding general staff meeting of KhRIFE, Oleksandr Kliuiev said: “moving forward is what our life is about. Any mistakes and shortcomings should not be an obstacle in this way but only a lesson for the future.”
