Implementation of aerospace forensics methods in expert activity

On February 13, 2023, the National Scientific Center «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute» was visited by representatives of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University - Vice-rector for scientific work of the university, doctor of law, professor Dmytro Luchenko; candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, associate professor of the department of criminology of NYU, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vasyl Bilous.
During the visit, Mr. Bilous demonstrated modern equipment that can be used during the inspection of hard-to-reach objects of expert research. In particular, the presentation, which demonstrated the fixation of destroyed buildings in one of Kharkiv’s districts, was quite informative and illustrative. Within the scope of the agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance, the employees of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University offered to hold practical classes on the training and training of judicial experts, in order to acquire the skills of using the mentioned equipment.
The application of aerospace forensics methods in expert activities has a positive effect on the quality and timing of expert research. Forensic experts of NSC «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius FSI» constantly deepen their fundamental knowledge and improve their professional skills in the application of innovative technologies.
