Leadership and staff of the National Scientific Center «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute» express their sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for taking care of forensic expert activity in the state. Special thanks to Denys Malyuska for his assistance in providing the NSC FSI with a modern 3D laser scanner, as well as to Deputy Minister Andrii Haychenko, who through careful control at all stages of the event accompanied the project "Supporting reforms and digitalization of the justice sector in Ukraine" ("Pravo-Justice" ) regarding the transfer of the latest equipment to the NSC FSI on a free basis.
High-tech equipment makes it possible to digitize expert research processes. Thanks to the help of the Ministry of Justice, specialists of the NSC FSI use modern equipment that allows them to carry out expert research at the level of international standards.
The city of Kharkiv and the region is the most affected region in terms of the amount of damaged and destroyed residential buildings and other real estate objects and critical infrastructure objects. The use of a laser 3D scanner allows forensic experts to create digital models of any objects in 3D dimensions, which significantly increases the efficiency of their work, and ultimately, the efficiency of expert justice provision in the state in difficult times of martial law.
